Some locations hold a very special place in our hearts. This customised paper cut is a bit like a secret treasure map! Your chosen location is marked with a raised, cutout heart, with exact latitude/longitude coordinates cut from the map.
Each piece is made to order using an original map from our collection of old maps and atlases. The papercut is mounted and ready to frame. It's the perfect gift to celebrate an engagement, wedding, anniversary or the arrival of a new baby.
You can either contact us first to discuss the details of your paper cut, or purchase this listing and let us know the following:
1.Location for the heart (e.g. town, city or place anywhere in the world)
2.Coordinates for a very specific location in the heart e.g. a landmark or an address. If none are provided we will use coordinates near the centre of the location given above.
3.(optional)Date and/or name(s) to be handwritten on the mat underneath the map e.g."Tom & Mary" and "24th July 1972"
-Placement of the heart and coordinates will vary slightly in each piece depending on the particular location and the maps we have available.
-Each map is different so colours, scale etc will vary. They always look great though!
-Map dimensions: 12cm x 12cm (4.7inches x 4.7inches)
-Mount dimensions: 23cm x 23cm (9 inches x 9 inches)
-Lead time for making is 7 working days

All of our products are handmade in the Little White Dog studio in Dublin, Ireland. Ready made items are are usually posted within two business days purchase. Allow 6-9 business days for delivery.
3D letters are all individually handmade to order and framed pieces are framed by a professional framer.
Unframed letters: allow 10 business days for making and 6-9 business days for delivery from time of posting. These are sent by Registered Post.
Framed letters: allow 20 business days for making & framing and 6-9 business days for delivery.
Cards: allow 3 business days for making and 6-9 business days for delivery from time of posting. These are sent by Standard Post.
Messages n Bottles: allow 3 business days for making and 5-7 business days for delivery from time of posting. These are sent by Standard Post.
Customised map papercut: allow 5 business days for making and 6-9 business days for delivery from time of posting. These are sent by Registered Post.

Items receive priority handling and are insured. Online tracking is available in some countries. You will receive your tracking number when your item has been mailed.
Customs fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We do our very best to ensure that our items reach you in perfect condition. Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your item to resolve any issues.
Non-customised items may be returned within 7 days in exchange for the cost of the item not including shipping costs. Refunds will be processed when the item is returned in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Custom made items may not be returned.
